Junior High Teacher

- Develop/adapt curriculum for our Junior High or Junior High STEM classes of up to 12 students, specialized to student needs
- Differentiate instruction to remediate what students need to learn and push them to rigorous content understanding
- Maintain and utilize accurate and up-to-date data regarding student achievement
- Empower students through high expectations, consistent routines, and strategies for success
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships with parents, students and colleagues
- Work collaboratively with the level teams
- Our STEM teacher will collaborate with colleagues to insure integration of STEM content in their classes
- Contribute to the drafting of each student’s quarterly report outlining their academic and social progress
- Passionate about empowering students with unique learning profiles

- Previous teaching experience, preferably with students that have learning differences
- Holds valid and up-to-date teaching certificate in Arizona
- Bachelor’s degree or higher with a preferred emphasis on special education
- Previous teaching experience preferably at the junior high level
