New Way Academy is accredited by Cognia through the Arizona Department of Education. This accreditation is renewed every five years. Our next accreditation will take place in the spring of 2024. Further, New Way is approved by the Exceptional Student Services Division of the Arizona Department of Education.
Designated as a No Place for Hate school, New Way is committed to creating sustainable change that leads to an improved school climate and takes pride in welcoming diversity and practicing inclusion in all aspects of the educational process and fostering those ideals in our students and staff.
New Way is active in local, state and national organizations including the National Association of Independent Schools (NAIS), the Arizona Association of Independent Schools (AAIS), the International Dyslexia Association (IDA) and the Children Services Network (CSN). Academically, the school partners with Arizona State University and Rio Salado to train special education student teachers in our classrooms. And the high school students enjoy the partnership that’s been established with Scottsdale Community College as part of the upper school transition program.
New Way is also proud to be affiliated with the following local organizations, Southwest Autism Research and Resources Center (SARRC) and First Place Phoenix.
