Vanessa Boone

READING SPECIALIST

Mrs. Vanessa Boone joined the New Way team in 2009. She grew up in Norwalk, Iowa and attended college at the University of Northern Iowa, majoring in Elementary Education with a minor in Coaching. Mrs. Boone teaches dedicated students to read using the Wilson Reading System. She became Level I certified in the Wilson program in 2011 and Level II certified in 2015. Mrs. Boone completed her Masters in Special Education through Fitchburg State University in 2018.

In her free time, Mrs. Boone enjoys hiking, camping, and spending time with her family. She is married to high school teacher, Mr. Boone, and they welcomed a beautiful baby girl in May 2024.
