Mrs. Hayden Smith has lived in Arizona for over 20 years, and graduated from Pima Medical Institute in 2018, kickstarting her career as an Occupational Therapy Assistant. Mrs. Smith has focused solely on pediatrics throughout the entirety of her career in a variety of settings including outpatient, home-health, aquatic therapy and school-based. She is passionate about utilizing play therapy and sensory integration to empower students to increase their confidence and independence within themselves and the world around them!

Outside of New Way Academy, Mrs. Smith can be found creating new recipes, attempting new sewing/craft projects and planning her next destination to explore the world with her husband! When she is not travelling, Mrs. Smith loves to snuggle up with her two dogs, Alfie and Zuko, and read as many books as she can!
