Laura Morgan

HIGH SCHOOL TEACHER

Mrs. Laura Morgan completed her bachelor’s degree in International Studies and Spanish from Washington University in St. Louis. Upon graduation, she moved to Nashville, TN where she became a devoted fan of country music and was a special education teacher’s assistant for elementary students.

In 2011 she returned to school to complete a master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Tennessee. During her graduate program, she interned at the Vanderbilt Kennedy Center where she supported young adults with learning differences as they completed a post-secondary certificate program through Vanderbilt University.

Mrs. Morgan’s professional experience includes working with children and adolescents as well as their families in the home, school, and hospital settings. She most recently served as the social worker for the Pediatric Diabetes Clinic at Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt.
