Originally from Ohio, Mrs. Megan Cumberworth moved to Arizona in 2007. Shortly after her move she attended a medical assistant program at The Bryman School in Phoenix. She has a very nurturing personality, loves taking care of patients and educating them about healthy living. When she is not at work she is attending classes at Maricopa Community College to pursue her goal to become a registered nurse. Prior to joining the New Way team Mrs. Cumberworth worked in a family medicine practice where she gained experience to care for children’s medical needs. She is skilled in caring for patients with diabetes and dietary needs, providing appropriate treatment for wounds, headaches, nosebleeds, allergic reaction, and illness such as a cold, allergies, and stomach flu.
In between work and studying, Mrs. Cumberworth can be found spending time with her husband, Eric, and their goldendoodle, Finn. Her passions include fitness and nutrition. Her favorite ways to stay fit are biking and running along the greenbelt, practicing yoga, and hiking. She keeps herself updated with nutrition by reading the latest health and nutrition studies. Mrs. Cumberworth also enjoys traveling, going to the Herberger Theater, visiting her local farmers market, painting, and listening to Lore and TED Radio Hour podcasts.
