Trever Tucker
P.E. TEACHER
Mr. Trever Tucker was born into a Navy family, and spent most of his youth in Virginia and Ohio. After completing his B.A. in History from Miami University in 2000, he joined the Navy and was stationed in Seattle, Washington for four years. Falling in love with the west coast, he moved to Arizona in 2004 and now considers Phoenix his home.
Mr. Tucker received his M.S. in Exercise Science from California University in 2006. Prior to teaching at New Way, he worked at a residential treatment facility and group home for youth at risk in Phoenix. Additionally, he taught physical education at a Charter High School in Buckeye. Mr. Tucker focuses on helping students develop lifelong fitness habits, and learning how to create healthy lifestyle plans that will allow them to stay active and fit for years to come.
When not in the classroom, you can find Mr. Tucker coaching a New Way sports team, working out at the local gym, or planning his family’s next odyssey.
