Lisa Vallejo

ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT

Lisa has worked for over 30 years in the Criminal Justice/Human Services field. She first began her administrative career in a Runaway Youth Shelter in Las Vegas. After her first two children were born, they moved back to Arizona to be closer to family.  She began working with Adults in Community Supervision, working closely with prosecutors and the courts to make certain data and programs were integrated and provided appropriate therapeutic interventions as needed.  Ultimately, she decided she wanted to reroute her career path and possibly have the opportunity to effect change at a different point in time.

This led her to New Way Academy with an opportunity to substitute teacher initially and then to be a part of the Admin team! Each day has opened her eyes to all the many interactions and interventions in place here for the students and all the wonderful staff that support their learning environment. It warms her heart to see and feel how everyone here cares so much about what they do and the students they teach!

Lisa is excited to be a part of the New Way team and looks forward to each day working together with everyone!
