After graduating from Slippery Rock University near Erie, PA with undergraduate degrees in Special Education, Elementary Education, and a minor in Mathematics, Mrs. Kelly moved to Phoenix to begin her teaching career. Throughout her teaching career she has furthered her education by receiving master’s degrees in Educational Administration and Leadership and Applied Behavior Analysis, both through ASU. She has taught in Cartwright School District and Higley Unified School District but nothing felt quite like home until obtaining a position at New Way. At New Way Mrs. Kelly exposes students to the subject of math in a way that isn’t too scary within an environment that encourages learning through exploration. You can also find her leading the junior high No Place For Hate committee, where she encourages all students to welcome differences and unique qualities!
When not teaching, you can find her with her husband, two toddler son’s and two bulldogs frequenting local restaurants and museums, as well as at the local yoga studio getting her zen on!
