Ms. Ginger Abraham grew up on the east coast in Short Hills, New Jersey. Her passion for working with children became evident at an early age and she pursued her education to follow her dream, receiving a Bachelor’s Degree in Child and Family Studies from Syracuse University and a Teaching Certification and Master’s Degree in Elementary Education from Seton Hall University. After years of teaching, Ms. Abraham took on the new role of stay-at-home-mom raising six boys. This is the accomplishment she is most proud of! The knowledge and experience she gained from loving and understanding her own children inspired her to re-enter the world of teaching so that she could be of service to others. After working as an assistant teacher for a few years, she joined New Way as a substitute teacher and then became part of the lower school family as a math teacher. She is now an academic support coordinator for the virtual learning program while she continues to acquire knowledge in the field of special education by pursuing her K-12 teaching credentials.
In her free time, Ms. Abraham enjoys spending time with her boys. She is often seen at one of their football or basketball games, going to the movies, eating nachos at Islands, or taking a road trip to Cali for the weekend!
