Supporting young people has been the driving force of my life’s work. As a teacher, administrator, and advocate for public education funding, my mission has always been to create opportunities for every student—regardless of their background—to grow, succeed, and thrive. That commitment is deeply personal. My own sister struggled for years in traditional public schools until she found New Way Academy. The school fundamentally changed her life, giving her the tools, confidence, and support to live independently and pursue her goals.

I believe wholeheartedly in the mission and vision of New Way Academy. I’m excited to contribute to the school’s continued growth so that more students can experience the same sense of belonging, fulfillment, and success that my sister did. It’s an honor to support this incredible community of learners and families as a member of the board.
