Qualifications
  • This is not an entry-level position and at least two years of prior finance or accounting experience is required. Additional training is available to complete the responsibilities outlined below. 
  • Courtesy, discretion and tact to work sensitively with vendors, current parents and faculty, by email, telephone and in person
  • Organization skills and attention to detail critical
  • Computer literacy with relevant experience using Google Suite 
  • Previous accounting experience strongly desired and Quickbooks preferred 
  • Willingness and ability to learn how to navigate and utilize the school's student database and enrollment management system
  • Experience working in a busy - but fun - team environment
  • A "can do" attitude in combination with a good sense of humor
Responsibilities
  • Receives and verifies accuracy of invoices and other accounting documents or records
  • Updates and maintains accounting journals, ledgers and other records detailing financial business transactions
  • Prepares semi-monthly payroll
  • Assists with human resources management, including inputting payroll data and various related tasks for new hires such as preparing, editing and posting positions as well as reading, sorting and distributing incoming resumes
  • Compiles data and prepares a variety of reports
  • Maintains filing systems for financial, human resources, and financial aid
  • Other duties as assigned by Director of Finance
  • A portion of these job responsibilities would require on-campus work each week

Base Salary
$55,000-$65,000 Per year
