Who We Are
One School, One Family
Our mission is to create a dynamic educational experience that empowers children with learning differences to reach their full potential and prepare for life beyond our doors. We continually strive to provide exemplary instruction, state-of-the-art remediation for challenging areas, enriching social experiences, and opportunities to unlock each child’s strengths and talents. As a result, New Way nurtures confident lifelong learners who lead enhanced, productive lives and serve as positive role models in their communities.
Core Values
New Way’s core values are at the heart of everything we do.
We cultivate a caring environment that promotes a sense of belonging. We build a school culture that celebrates individuals for who they are and the unique roles they play within our school.
We approach each situation with the intention of positively contributing towards a solution. We strive to understand and care for others and their belongings while actively listening to different perspectives and recognizing their value.
We foster a culture of involvement both in and out of the classroom. We provide meaningful opportunities for students, faculty, and families to connect and engage.
We rise to any challenge! Students are encouraged to produce their best work, leading to growth and achievement. Teachers implement quality lesson plans tailored to meet individual student needs, guided by ethical, evidence-based best practices.
Taking ownership means being proactive in your role, assuming responsibility for the quality of your work, and being accountable for your words and actions. We practice self-assessment to identify personal strengths and opportunities for growth.
Research-based Teaching
New Way employs research-based teaching methods delivered by certified teachers, provides personalized instruction, and maintains small class sizes that transform academic frustration into enlightenment. Each student’s curriculum is tailored to their educational needs and abilities based on comprehensive assessments in academics, psycho-education, speech and language, and motor skills. Students are taught concepts and subjects in ways that resonate with their understanding, thereby building self-esteem and confidence in the classroom. They also have access to speech, reading, and occupational therapy provided by accredited specialists, integrated into the school day. All of your child’s needs can be met on campus.

Learning Inside & Outside the Classroom
Prospective parents and students are often impressed by our beautiful and expansive campus. New Way recognizes the importance of social interaction in childhood development and our campus provides an environment that fosters connections and friendships beyond the classroom. New Way features playgrounds, study areas, collaborative spaces, athletic fields, a gym, and a cafeteria. During school hours, our hallways are vibrant with student activity and learning. After school, New Way students participate in sports, leadership initiatives, community service, arts, and various electives that enhance their learning experience and happiness outside the classroom.
