Mrs. Monica Hitzel grew up in Gilbert, Arizona before leaving to attend college in Missouri, where she obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Speech and Language Pathology. She moved back to Arizona to work as an SLPA. After working as an SLPA for several years in various school settings, Mrs. Hitzel received her Master of Science degree in Clinical Speech-Language Pathology from Northern Arizona University. She is licensed as an SLP through the Arizona Department of Health Services and has received the Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American-Speech-Language Hearing association.
In her free time, Mrs. Hitzel enjoys spending time outdoors, crafting, and reading. She and her family love to go on camping trips when the weather is nice, and she is always looking for book recommendations.
