Ms. Holly Roberts brings over two decades of experience and a deep passion for teaching to the New Way Academy team. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Arizona, as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education from the University of Nevada–Las Vegas, where she also completed graduate coursework in Curriculum and Instruction. Throughout her career, Ms. Roberts has been dedicated to literacy instruction and takes great pride in helping each student unlock their full potential. Her professional journey includes experience as a classroom teacher, reading specialist, and literacy coach. Ms. Roberts’ approach is rooted in understanding and supporting the unique learning needs of every student, creating a classroom environment where every learner feels seen, valued, and empowered.
When she’s not in the classroom, Ms. Roberts loves spending time with her husband, daughter, and their trio of rescued fur babies—Ozzy the pug, and two sassy cats, Mia and Rosie. As often as possible, the Roberts family can be found on a beach with their toes in the sand, collecting seashells, and enjoying the ocean air. A lifelong learner herself, Ms. Roberts enjoys reading biographies that explore people’s unique life stories, and streaming documentaries that teach her something new about the world. She is thrilled to be a part of the New Way Academy community and is excited to grow, learn, and inspire alongside her students and fellow educators.
