Mrs. Katie Lugo attended San Juan College in Farmington, New Mexico, where she grew up, receiving her Associates Degree as a occupational therapy assistant. She also received her Bachelor’s in occupational studies from the University of Cincinnati. Mrs. Lugo moved to Phoenix in 2018 to pursue a career in pediatric therapy. She developed a love and specialty for sensory integration working in an outpatient setting before finding New Way.
Outside of New Way, you can find Mrs. Lugo hiking the mountains of Arizona or trying out new restaurants to satisfy the “foodie” in her. She loves spending time with her husband, Coach Lugo, and her dog Armin. Pursuing education and knowledge is important to her so she is always looking for new CEUs or extracurricular activities to gain more knowledge.
