Mrs. Hayden Smith has called Arizona home for over 20 years and graduated from Pima Medical Institute in 2018, launching her career as an Occupational Therapy Assistant. She has dedicated her career to pediatrics, with experience in outpatient, home health, aquatic therapy, and school-based settings. Mrs. Smith is passionate about using play-based therapy and sensory integration to help students build confidence, develop independence, and thrive both in and out of the classroom.
Outside of New Way Academy, Mrs. Smith can be found creating new recipes and planning her next destination to explore the world with her husband. When she is not traveling, Mrs. Smith loves to snuggle up with her two dogs, Alfie and Zuko, and read as many books as she can!
