Mrs. Cheryl Martinez is originally from the northeast suburbs of Chicago, and relocated to Arizona in 2015. She graduated from Pima Medical Institute and obtained her Associate’s degree to pursue her career as an Occupational Therapy Assistant in 2018. Prior to New Way, Mrs. Martinez provided occupational therapy in pediatric outpatient and home-health settings.
In 2023, Mrs. Martinez joined New Way and is proud to be part of such a supportive and welcoming community! She is dedicated to providing occupational therapy that is engaging, motivating, and supports each student’s growth and success in the classroom and beyond.
Outside of New Way, Mrs. Martinez enjoys photography, movies, cooking new recipes, crafting, yoga, and spending time with her husband and their Shih Tzu, Odin.
