Mrs. Sydney Helmin is originally from Phoenix, Arizona, and is excited to be serving students in the community she calls home. She recently earned her Master of Social Work (MSW) from Arizona State University and is passionate about supporting children, adolescents, and families. She believes every student has unique strengths and deserves to feel seen, understood, and supported as they grow in confidence and reach their full potential.
Mrs. Helmin is thrilled to be joining the New Way Academy community and looks forward to getting to know students, families, and staff. Outside of school, she enjoys traveling, taking barre classes, thrift shopping, hosting friends and family, and spending time with her husband and their Goldendoodle, Larry.
