Mrs. Martinez relocated to Arizona in 2019 from Washington state to attend Arizona State University, initially planning to return home after graduation. However, after earning her bachelors degree in psychology, she fell in love with the Arizona sunshine and decided to make it her permanent home. She later completed her Master’s degree in School Counseling from the University of Denver.
Before joining the NWA team, Mrs. Martinez gained valuable experience working as a school counselor supporting students from a wide range of backgrounds and needs. She also has previously worked as a teaching assistant, where she developed a deep understanding of classroom dynamics and student development. Her diverse experience has allowed her to effectively connect with students of all ages and provide personalized, compassionate support.
Outside of work, Mrs. Martinez enjoys quiet evenings at home with her spouse, two dogs and three cats. She is also a licensed hairstylist and lash artist and can be found after work or on weekends helping others feel their best through these beauty services!
