Stephanie Wood

Primary Academy Support Teacher

Ms. Stephanie Wood grew up in Connecticut and studied in New Hampshire receiving her Bachelor’s in Sociology. After University, she followed her passions in special education and discovered her new love of teaching as a substitute teacher and paraprofessional. When not in school, her summers were spent working at a non-profit camp for children and adults with developmental disabilities.

In 2020, she was given the opportunity to explore the world and moved to South Korea where she spent the next five years teaching English as a second language. Now her adventures have brought her to Arizona where she is thrilled to be a part of New Way and plans to continue her Masters. In her spare time Ms. Wood can be found crafting, traveling, playing games, and watching movies.
