Ms. Morkert is a recent graduate of Grand Canyon University, where she earned her bachelor’s degree in Special Education and General Education. Born and raised in the Phoenix area, she is thrilled to begin her teaching career at such a wonderful school. She is excited to build meaningful relationships with her students and create a positive, supportive classroom where everyone can learn and grow.
Outside of the classroom, Ms. Morkert enjoys working out, baking, and spending time outdoors. One of her favorite places to visit is Crosslake, Minnesota, where she spent her summers working at a camp for individuals with identified needs. That experience strengthened her passion for helping others and supporting students of all abilities.
Ms. Morkert looks forward to getting to know each of her students and helping them grow into confident, successful learners throughout the school year.
