Mrs. Renee Keipert is a passionate and dedicated educator with more than 20 years of teaching experience in the United States and Australia. Originally from Phoenix, Arizona, she earned her Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education/English from Arizona Christian University and is certified to teach secondary education in Arizona. She also earned her secondary teaching certification through the Board of Studies and Educational Standards (BOSTES) in Australia, along with specialized training in special education. Mrs. Keipert spent nearly 12 years teaching in the greater Sydney region in a variety of educational settings, including mainstream schools, alternative education programs, and ASPECT (Autism Spectrum Australia), Australia’s largest autism-specific school, where she taught for seven consecutive years. She has also taught English in both mainstream and special education settings in public and private schools throughout the Phoenix area.
Mrs. Keipert is passionate about helping every student feel seen, known, and valued while discovering and developing their unique talents and abilities. Her diverse teaching experiences have strengthened her commitment to meeting students where they are, recognizing their individual strengths, and helping them discover abilities they may not yet recognize in themselves. She strives to create a positive and supportive environment where students can grow in confidence, develop a love of learning, and recognize their own potential. Mrs. Keipert is thrilled to be part of the New Way team and looks forward to making each day a positive and meaningful experience for her students.
Outside of school, Mrs. Keipert enjoys spending time with her husband and their two cats, Charlie and Baxter, who made the journey with them from Australia back to Arizona. She loves reading, traveling, cooking, hiking, watching movies, and spending time with family and friends.
