Responsibilities

  • Provide therapy under the direction of an on-site supervising Occupational Therapist
  • Direct fun and engaging therapeutic treatment for individual sessions and classrooms 
  • Monitor student progress to ensure student is making progress on goals and/or focus areas
  • Document data and progress on daily therapy notes and quarterly progress reports 
  • Collaborate with our multidisciplinary team of special education teachers, speech pathologists, psychologists, and occupational therapy team

Requirements

  • Preference 3+ years of experience as a COTA
  • Experience in pediatrics with preference of experience in a school-based setting
  • Current state licensure as a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant
  • Demonstrates professionalism and maintains integrity 
  • Committed to providing quality care and actively contributing to a positive team environment 
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize student needs and responsibilities

Job Benefits

  • Salaried position based on experience in a range of $50,000 to 60,000 per year for a 40 hour work week
  • School hours of 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. following a school calendar, with paid sick time, paid holidays, and paid time off
