Steven Campanelli

LOWER SCHOOL TEACHER

Mr. Campanelli was born and raised in New York City, and spent the first half of his adult life in the performing arts industry, dividing his time between the east and west coasts. In 2000, he decided to make a switch to pursue teaching, another great passion, and he hasn’t looked back since!

Mr. Campanelli, known to his students as Mr.C, graduated from California State University with a BA degree in Education (Linguistics), and now has a Masters in Education (Language, Diversity, Leadership) from American College of Education.

Prior to moving to Arizona, he spent ten years working at an independent school in Southern California where he taught and worked in various aspects of school life. He then continued to enjoy teaching as well as moving into a Director of Performing Arts position after coming to Arizona in 2010. Mr. C is very excited to be a part of New Way, alongside talented colleagues and awesome students. He looks forward to personally meeting everyone in the community.

When not teaching or in class, Mr. C enjoys spending time with his family and traveling at every possible opportunity.
