Emily Schumacher

JUNIOR HIGH TEACHER

Miss Schumacher grew up in the Bay Area of California before relocating to Northern Arizona where she attended Northern Arizona University and received a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and Human Behavior. Then her passion for education brought her to Phoenix in her pursuit of a Masters Degree in Special Education and Elementary Education. Before joining the New Way staff, Miss Schumacher had worked in many roles in education with students ranging from Pre-K to 12th grade.

Outside of New Way, Miss Schumacher is an outdoor enthusiast! You will most likely find her deep in the forest and mountains, finding any reason to go to the coast, kayaking a river or lake, or camping with friends and family!
