Elizabeth Drewelow

Lower School

Ms. Drewelow grew up in the small town of Geneseo, Illinios (only a half hour drive from the Mississippi River!).  She spent most of her youth teaching swimming lessons at the local pool, performing in plays and musicals at the school, and going camping with her family.

Ms. Drewelow graduated from Clarke College in Dubuque, Iowa in 2009, with a degree in Elementary Education.  She obtained a Master of Education degree from Buena Vista University in Storm Lake, Iowa, in 2016.  She spent the first five years of her career in the public schools, teaching a variety of subjects within the field of special education.  In 2015, she was recruited to work at a private speech and language therapy center. This opportunity allowed her to collaborate with speech and language pathologists in creating a program for elementary-aged students that focused upon reading, math, and social skills.  Ms. Drewelow’s greatest passion is to help kids feel confident in their abilities!

In her free time, Ms. Drewelow enjoys good books, spending time with friends, hiking, and going to church events.  She likes to learn how to cook with new recipes, as well.  Ms. Drewelow also loves traveling, exploring new cultures, and getting to know new people.
