Ms. Katie Jillette graduated from Arizona State University with a Master’s degree in Special Education. She taught 6th-8th grade Special Education for three years in a public school before working as a Math Interventionist and a Data Coach at the school level. At New Way, she teaches 10th-12th grade Math and can often be found attempting to tell funny jokes or presenting math raps while getting high school students excited about difficult math concepts. She also teaches our brand new Public Speaking class, where students have already recorded their first podcast for Raising Arizona Kids Magazine. Ms. Jillette spends her time outside the classroom virtually coaching teachers around the country and providing them with feedback on their instruction. She loves to hang out with her preschooler Kaden, Facetime with her brother in Rhode Island and binge-watch shows on the Investigation Discovery channel.
